Nettica iOS apps updated

We've updated all of our iOS apps, updating them to support the iPhone 5 screen size and the incorporating feedback from the reviews.  DNS Lookup Plus now supports SRV records when you query for ALL.  In addition, to email results simply copy and paste the results into an email (we had copy and paste working in our apps before Apple fully supported it).  We've also added support for more TLDs in WHOIS.  However, some registries, such as .CM, do not have a public WHOIS server.  Thanks to everyone who has contributed feedback to our apps!

Nettica DNS Manager 3.5 released

We're happy to announce the latest update to our DDNS update client.  This updates the client to use the Microsoft .Net 3.5 framework and supports Windows 7, Windows 2008, and Windows 2008 R2, both 32-bit and 64-bit.  The code is also signed to allow for easy installation.  You can find the new download from the downloads area (under the support menu).  Please be sure to uninstall any previous versions before installing the new client.  Please let us know if you have any problems.

DNS2 maintenance 2/9/2012

Last week we had an issue with DNS2 which caused some problems for customers using only our DNS1 and DNS2 servers.  We diagnosed the problem to be an issue with DNS1, and performed maintenance over the weekend to resolve the issue.  We will be doing additional maintance to DNS2 tomorrow evening to close out the issue.  This maintenance will include a datacenter move and an expected downtime of approximately 4 hours.  We recommend adding DNS3, DNS4, and DNS5.NETTICA.COM to your name server list at your domain registrar (or the appropriate rebranding) if you have any concerns relating to this maintenance window.  Please contact support with any questions.
