Nettica DNS Manager 1.1

Today we updated our Nettica DNS Manager to version 1.1. This version requires the Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1. Since our last build of the DDNS client was over two years ago and required the 1.0 Framework, it was time to move forward. A nice benefit of this simple change was the download image was reduced from 1.8MB to 300kb.

New Backup Mail Service Feature

We've added user hints to our backup mail service. Now, if you choose, you may specify a list of users that we will accept mail for. This helps reduce unnecessary traffic to your server, saving everyone time and bandwidth.

New FailSafe purchasing options

Getting started with Nettica FailSafe is now easier than ever. We've added multiple check frequencies that fit any budget. Starting at 30 minute checks, and going all the way down to 1 minute intervals, we provide real-time monitoring and protection. Making changes to your plan, such as upgrading your check interval or adding more rules, is quick and easy, and of course prorated to your Bulk DNS expiration.

Current customers may notice their service just got a little cheaper as well. We are no longer of offering a 20% on five or more rules - now everyone pays the same, lower price. Qualifying customers who purchased less than 5 rules will notice renewing their service is now a bit cheaper.

New Bulk DNS Billing options

Now there are two models for purchasing and renewing your Bulk DNS Service. You can now add service in blocks of up to 1,000 domains. In addition, you can add additional service prorated to your current expiration, or grossed up to a year from the present. In addition, you can renew your service either strictly by its current expiration date, or by having a "rolling" expiration date a year from the present date. Managing both your domains and your budget has never been easier. We're very pleased to offer you the most choices in DNS management.
